The Impossible Can Be Done

I escaped tonight
Like a rebel without a cause
None at all
I just wanted to be mysterious
Drove off into the night hoping I wouldn't be caught

I found moonlit landscapes like silver staves
Plucking the way up from the grass

I called on ambience and mood
Spirit and surroundings
I'm too directed by music and media
I'm not sure of this is impulsive elusiveness
Or the strong raw style
I'd like it to be the latter, this life

My legs wont break and my hands wont freeze
I caught onto safety like I caught the breeze, tonight, I did
The impossible
Here stands a brazen shield
Collapse amidst sand-dollar leaves
Tonight, I did the impossible
