Promise To A Friend

I know that I don't have answers
Most often I am not wise
I can't solve these mysteries
They are mysteries to me too
But I can be there for you
To listen and to comfort
I will be steadfast, reliable, and trustworthy
I will love you whe all others leave
That is the promise I will give you
God is a being I will never understand
I know it frustrates you
It frustrates me too
But He alone has taught me to love
So I will love you with all that He has given me
And maybe you will come to understand
The most important thing to ever know
