Welcome to Heartbreak

Every once and a while
My heart will break a part
Like one of those far space super novas
And it'll take my breath for a few moments of painful silence

Then I'll remember what you said
And put myself back together again
I hope you continue to tell the truth
Because I'm throwing a lot of trust at you

There's been a lot said about peace
But I wonder what we look like when love finally leaves?
