Sing me a song about a miner
And I'll tell you a story about his home
Write me a book about the deepest canyon
And I'll take you there to look
I'd like to find something special
In your eyes that sets you apart
While you read my poems that amount to nothing
And find new meaning in them
I hope you remember to buy me flowers

I hope we discover a new way to kiss
And that your grandma likes me
